About These Postcards

1. China Welcomes You!
Many of those going to China for ISME 2010 will already have started travel to China. From this Sunday the Commission Seminars will be held in various parts of China. May they all have enjoyable, enriching and successful Seminars.

We can report that we are expecting 4000 delegates of which 1000 are international delegates representing 65 countries, and 3000 Chinese Music Educators.

763 Titles will be presented of which 175 are Poster presentations. Class Lesson Demonstrations and Workshops will be popular and accessible for non-English speakers and the many Symposia and Workshops are sure to lead to some lively discussions.

2. Showcasing ISME-Gibson Awards
The Plenary Session on Thursday 5th August will showcase the ISME-Gibson Awards. The 2009  ISME-Gibson Community Award will inform on the project in Timor-lest and the ISME-Gibson International Award recipient will be announced. Information about these Awards will be shared with those interested in learning more about them.

Thanks to the ISME-Gibson Foundation for their generous support of these valuable projects.
